With great pride, I welcome you to the City of Milan! Located in Gibson County, Milan, Tennessee enjoys a population of 7,885 residents. At the forefront of our many accomplishments is our school system, which is currently ranked in the top ten in the state of Tennessee and climbing, and continues to produce outstanding and successful graduates.
In late 2008, the City of Milan began an exciting $1 million dollar downtown revitalization project. Additionally, the City’s Industrial Board is one of the most aggressive in our State. The city has also created new and progressive planning, zoning, and codes that will undoubtedly further spur growth while keeping our small town southern charm.
Milan has been an annual recipient of the prestigious Governor’s Three Star Award, evidencing the community’s continued success and accomplishments. Our low tax rate, business friendly climate, along with parks, libraries, and cultural and recreational amenities, make Milan a safe, exciting, and rewarding place to live. I’m lucky to be the Mayor of such a great town!
